The Weekend Edit: Paris on my Mind

The Weekend Edit: Paris on my Mind

I loved Paris, long before I ever stepped foot in the city.

Maybe it started with Francoise Hardy’s music filling our home, or magazines and tv shows portraying Paris, as the City of Love. It could have been all the photos of cafes filled with Parisians, dressed in black, drinking coffee and smoking cigarettes…looking cooler than anyone I knew!

My fascination with the city grew, as I became interested in fashion and Coco Chanel. The city and her muses filled my mind with a glamour, not available in small town South Africa. I am still captured by the ease and nonchalance, Parisians have when they get dressed.

So this week’s edit is an ode to Paris and Parisians.
